eFoils, also known as electric hydrofoil surfboards, are a new development in the field of water sports. These innovative watercraft combine electric mobility with the latest hydrofoil technology to offer you a unique experience.
The basic idea behind eFoils is relatively simple: a powerful electric motor drives the board and generates the necessary thrust to lift you above the surface of the water.
Some customers also describe it as a „surfboard with a motor“.
However, the secret lies in the hydrofoil system, which is mounted underneath the water. This wing generates buoyancy and ensures that the eFoil literally glides over the surface of the water, drastically reducing water resistance. The result is a smooth and almost silent ride. Many people therefore also refer to it as a „floating surfboard“.
Control is via a wireless remote control, which gives the rider control over the speed. Everything else is controlled by weight shifting and balance. eFoils are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, making them environmentally friendly and quiet.
